1. Who we are

UseVibeFlow is a product of Neortal Technologies Inc., a company incorporated in the Province of Quebec, Canada. For the purposes of applicable privacy laws — including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) — Neortal is the organization responsible for the personal information described here.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information we handle through (a) the UseVibeFlow website at usevibeflow.com, and (b) the UseVibeFlow desktop application for Windows and Linux. It does not apply to third-party services you connect to the Service (such as your AI model provider), which are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact & beta access requests. When you email us to request access or support, we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • Account & licensing data (where applicable). If you create an account or activate a license, we process the identifiers and billing references needed to provide and support the Service.

Information collected automatically

  • Website analytics. With your consent, we collect limited usage data (such as pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type) to understand and improve the site. See Cookies & analytics.
  • Product diagnostics. The desktop app may collect limited, non-content telemetry (such as version, crash reports, and feature usage) to keep the app reliable. This does not include your source code or project contents.

4. Your code & the desktop app

UseVibeFlow runs on your own machine and operates inside your own project folder. Your source code, files, and prompts are processed locally and are not transmitted to or stored by Neortal.

To generate results, the app sends prompts and the context you choose to your configured AI model provider (for example, Anthropic's Claude) using your own plan and credentials. That processing is governed by your provider's terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review them, as Neortal does not control how those providers handle the data you send.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • To respond to your requests, including beta access and support;
  • To understand usage and improve features, performance, and reliability;
  • To send service-related communications (and, with consent where required, product updates);
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, users, and the public.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Cookies & analytics

The website uses strictly necessary storage to function and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to measure usage. You can accept or decline analytics through the consent banner and change your choice later by clearing site storage in your browser. Declining does not affect your access to the site.

7. Sharing & service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers who process information on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, email, and payment processors) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
  • Legal & safety reasons, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service;
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymized.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, port, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. Quebec residents have rights under Law 25 (including access, rectification, and de-indexing), and residents of other regions may have rights under PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, or U.S. state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. International transfers

We are based in Canada, and our service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take steps required by applicable law — such as contractual safeguards and assessments — to protect it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. For more detail, see our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
